I’ve recently had a subscriber ask me about the Equitrack VSR System from Equinex Ltd who are based in Cheshunt, Herts.
This is a horse racing betting system. You buy a licence to their system and then use it to create “no lose” betting opportunities on exchanges such as Betfair.
The email read:
“I am considering investing in Equinex Ltd’s Equitrack VSR system and have been invited to a live demonstration of the system. I am contacting you to see if you or any members have any experience of this system or have heard anything good or bad about the system, before i potentially waste my time.
The system is a software programe called Equitrack VSR which shows what to bet on in horse races.
The blurb states that they have been the UK’s leading sports software provider since 1998.
The cost of the system is at present £3,500 (Three Thousand Five hundred pounds) exc VAT until 31st January 2007. usually £4,500.
In the last mail (29th December 2006) they are increasing the cost of the program to £5,500 after the 31st January 2007.
They base the return figures on a 10% compounding bank starting each month with £100 invested.
Figures for 2003: £36,813.
2004: £37,411.
2005: £22,338.
2006 (so far): £24,622. (projected to be circa £32,622).The sales letter is a simple 1 A4 page where it details the returns made monthly, the cost of the system and an invitation to attend a live demonstration (all of the mailings have just been to try and get me to attend a live demonstration) I assume that it is then that the hard sell may come into play.
The figures appear to be on the too good to be true side and the cost has kept me away from this opportunity, until now. They haven’t shut up shop and done a runner and i havent reard any negative press on them, so im thinking there may be some validity in the figures.
I’v tried to do some research on them, but there is very little available. I recently joined the Home business Alliance and their magazine “The Boss” has back issues available, they have Equinex listed in the contents of 4 issues going back to Jan 2003. I have recently ordered all of the magazines where Equinex is listed and will foward any info on to you if you require it.

I have been recieving posts from them for at least 3 years now and it’s always been the same address and this is the address that is listed for them on the Companies House website.
My next step is to speak to one of them on the phone and ask abit more about the system and if they have staged payment methods etc.

Unfortunately, I do not know very much about horse racing, tipsters or betting exchange software so I cannot help.
However, I do know that many people out in the biz opps world are experts in the horse racing field so I would like to throw open the request.
Can anyone help me out here? Do you know anything about the Equitrack VSR System?

With respect to Jon and his way of forward thinking ,which I agree with. Let’s then take this opportunity for Barry Shepard ,Stephen and the rest of Equinex to say that they now totally disregard the way that their VSR ratings were sold and will they apologise for the way they have not written to or phoned or e-mailed their existing customers with respect to this. They do make a BIG thing about their customer support after all, but is that just to pacify you while you continue to subscribe to their daily ratings or use of export, i.e. while they are still taking money off you. And if you do try to compile the ratings yourself, then there is always the chance of “user error” which equinex will always use as an excuse,and that’s why I personally believe why they will not publish the results for 2007/08 and that’s why I believe they have tried to move on by stealth.

I am reading all the comments with increasing disbelief. I read comments from ‘owners’ of the system and responses from Steven and it reminds me of a parent trying to explain something to a stubborn child.
From my experience of buying this system in January of 2008, the year did not live up to the returns that were mentioned in the glossy produced by the company.
However the system has been looked at, revamped and is now a much simpler process to follow. Detach yourself from the fact that it is horses, follow the trends of selections, taking into account the MS% and you can achieve a positive return in line with what is being reported back to you on a daily basis.
Only the individuals that are commenting know exactly how much money they have won or lost. As they already own the system I don’t see the problem in taking up the 14 day free trial using the new system. I have followed it for 7 days now and it does appear to work. What is also important is the daily feedback with screenshots and explanations as to why a bet should or shouldnt have been made.
I am not a ‘plant’ writing on behalf of the company, just somebody who bought the system for the same reason as the rest of you. In doing this I just want to find a way in which this can work for me and the new method would appear to be the way.
One comment I would make is that I do feel that it would be a good idea for the company to publish the returns for the year 2008. I don’t see that there is any problem in doing so.
If anybody continues to bemoan the system and their own bad luck, without trying the free 14 day trial then I think they’re very foolish.

I am now glad that you admit by default that the VSR ratings did not achieve the results that were heralded on you previous website,which has now disappeared. Again your arrogancy beholds you and you are throwing all your “sales” experience behind your new found VSR-X system and your results for the past few months.How and where are you advertising this one!!
Please take this opportunity to apologise to the members who spent their hard earned money,(£4000+) with you, and help everyone move on with a bit of dignity.

If you are a GENUINE owner of a ‘Lifetime’ copy of VSR you either a) Already know this is true .. b) Simply do not check your email.. or c) Are a ‘competitor’ hiding behind the anonymity of this blog hoping to stop anyone from taking a free look at what you cannot achieve yourself.

You forget the reasons why you sold this program in the first place,and now concentrate on trying to cover up the past record of the way you sold this “business” by trying to bypass your obligations and again don’t see any of you results for the last 2 years when your company came to the fore. Let me be one of the first past the post to congratulate you on the new website. Best point so far for me is being able to access the graphs for the previous day as this helps a lot in the learning period and saves having to contact the office and bothering staff unnecessarily.
Both (name withheld for privacy reasons) and myself would like to thank you and your excellent team on the way the support was provided. This has been given freely and it is nice to deal with a company that is true to its word.
Speaking as someone that has never put a bet on a horse in his life ( no not even the national) I am astounded that we are making good profits by doing just that.
