I’ve recently had a subscriber ask me about the Equitrack VSR System from Equinex Ltd who are based in Cheshunt, Herts.
This is a horse racing betting system. You buy a licence to their system and then use it to create “no lose” betting opportunities on exchanges such as Betfair.
The email read:
“I am considering investing in Equinex Ltd’s Equitrack VSR system and have been invited to a live demonstration of the system. I am contacting you to see if you or any members have any experience of this system or have heard anything good or bad about the system, before i potentially waste my time.
The system is a software programe called Equitrack VSR which shows what to bet on in horse races.
The blurb states that they have been the UK’s leading sports software provider since 1998.
The cost of the system is at present £3,500 (Three Thousand Five hundred pounds) exc VAT until 31st January 2007. usually £4,500.
In the last mail (29th December 2006) they are increasing the cost of the program to £5,500 after the 31st January 2007.
They base the return figures on a 10% compounding bank starting each month with £100 invested.
Figures for 2003: £36,813.
2004: £37,411.
2005: £22,338.
2006 (so far): £24,622. (projected to be circa £32,622).The sales letter is a simple 1 A4 page where it details the returns made monthly, the cost of the system and an invitation to attend a live demonstration (all of the mailings have just been to try and get me to attend a live demonstration) I assume that it is then that the hard sell may come into play.
The figures appear to be on the too good to be true side and the cost has kept me away from this opportunity, until now. They haven’t shut up shop and done a runner and i havent reard any negative press on them, so im thinking there may be some validity in the figures.
I’v tried to do some research on them, but there is very little available. I recently joined the Home business Alliance and their magazine “The Boss” has back issues available, they have Equinex listed in the contents of 4 issues going back to Jan 2003. I have recently ordered all of the magazines where Equinex is listed and will foward any info on to you if you require it.
Website addresss is http://www.equinex.com/EquinexV2/Home.html
Also: http://www.equitrack.net/homepage.htm
equinex’s email contact is admin@equinex.com
The address details are Equinex limited, Riverdene House, 140 High Street, Cheshunt, Herts, EN8 0AW. Tel: 01992 628688.
I have been recieving posts from them for at least 3 years now and it’s always been the same address and this is the address that is listed for them on the Companies House website.
My next step is to speak to one of them on the phone and ask abit more about the system and if they have staged payment methods etc.
Your comments would be appreciated”
Unfortunately, I do not know very much about horse racing, tipsters or betting exchange software so I cannot help.
However, I do know that many people out in the biz opps world are experts in the horse racing field so I would like to throw open the request.
Can anyone help me out here? Do you know anything about the Equitrack VSR System?
If so, please leave a comment here or contact me via the BizOppsUK Support Desk.
Thanks in advance,
Ben
Andy B,
Thanks, but no thanks. I don’t do second hand!
Chris,
Thanks for your response. It seems a good way to approach the system. Also thanks for your frank and honest assessment.

Hi, this is chris who wrote 135. The reason I work on small £20 amounts is that I want to see the results over one full year across all weathers including flat and jumps. Once I have a years worth of results I will double my stakes or maybe go to £50 maximum. Yes it’s true I could increase it now but sods law would be that the winter months did not perform as well as the summer months and if I had a losing run at higher stakes it would wipe out all the good work done so far. I am also slowly building up a knowledge bank of racing and learning about horses, jockeys, tracks and also hopefully developing the knack of making better interpretations on the more difficult 50/50 graphs. Having listened to all radio commentaries I have a distinct preference for the william hill radio with john budden, ken peterson etc. Must go as the 6.50 kempton just starting.

Chris,
Re comment no. 135. Is the only reason that you level your stakes at £20 because that’sall that you can afford, or isit because that is a level that you feel comfortable with?
I only ask because if it’s the former then surely you can increase the level of stake as your ‘pot’ increases? This would then increase again the amount of money that you have won?
I’d appreciate a reply as this system is something that I am also interested in viewing.

If you’re reading this then you must be interested in the Equitrack system. If this is the case then my software is for sale, I am no longer in a position to make use of it, so you can save money by buying my copy. Steven (Equitrack) has stated that you can still go along to view the system live and then still get all the normal support and backup provided by Equitrack. So buying my copy will save you the VAT and I will also knock off some of the price, (this saving could be put towards your betting pot). All enquiries my number is below. Save yourself some money.

Oh dear, just stumbled across this website and feel I should put my own perspective across to give a balanced view. I purchased the full license in late february and have been making small but consistent profits each week. I can only afford to place £20 bets but but each week I average a good £100 to £130 profit and that’s tax free for me.
I am now retired and not on a big pension I might add so this money although not huge does help immensely with my living expenses. I think people who are having a bad time need to grasp two things…
1. timing is everything (1 minute means 1 minute!)
2. learn to understand graphs and downward trends.
Learn these two things and you will make money. There are the odd days when a graph is difficult to interpret (maybe one or two bets a week) and I advise then if not sure DO NOT BET. From experience it’s best not to take the chance and lose because the win percentages will work positively and negate those 1 or 2 difficult decisions.
If you don’t want to be making occasional subjective decisions then use the mass market index. I prefer daily small profits and can’t remember the last time I had two consecurive losing days. The mass market is IMPOSSIBLE to fake as its published at 12pm before racing commences. The system I use (graphs and timing) is also robust although in any one week there are a couple of “iffy” graphs where a wrong interpretation could be had (and a wrong bet made) BUT even with this you still make a healthy profit most days and definitely every week which is all that counts. Your only possible argument with them will be “I made 10% less profit than you claimed you made”….which is still a bloody good return on investment. Will it continue?…goodness knows but I hope the next six months is like the first six months.
I do agree though that to become good at this you need to be free from 2pm to 5.45pm mon to fri as it won’t run on auto pilot. So for an older retired person or maybe someone on shifts, or someone who has a stay at home wife, you can get around this one issue.
Well just wanted to put my own perspective on things because it works well for me.

Dear Alfred,
You have made several appointments in the past to see the system working in real-time .. but so far have not turned up for one.
Any serious enquirer is shown how the system works, taught to use it .. then allowed to use our money to place on qualifying selections throughout the afternoon – in real time so you can watch the profits as they come in.
There is no obligation to buy and you are welcome to ‘go away and think it over before deciding to purchase’.
We have never refused to provide you with recent performance statistics and have sent you many updates.
In fact, profit or loss figures are uploaded to the public area of our website daily.
If you go to equitrack.net and click on ‘How much can I make’ on the left-hand column followed by clicking on the ‘Click here’ when the page loads, you will see all the daily performance figures calculated at £100 level stakes. Some clients use higher stakes – some lower and profits are proportionately affected.
When you come to our offices we show you the members (secure) side of that which has real-time screenshots showing the actual live markets and selections just before the start of each race. These are often used by existing members to double-check against their own activity.
For example, here is an excerpt of an email received from Dave P in Calgary, Canada late on Friday 7th August 09 ..
Sent: Friday, August 07, 2009 5:19 PM
Hi Steve,
Follow your screenshots everyday and I am still making the odd mistake against you but the results have been very positive and this week, as of writing I am a grand up, yahoo, pardon the pun.
We had the biggest storm here the other night, largest in Calgary for over thirty years, hailstones the size of golf balls, bloody idiot that I am was stood outside 2am in the morning taking pictures, the locals thought I was nuts, mad dogs and Englishman ugh!.
Catch up with you soon mate, regards to Sharon, Barry and all you guys there.
David
If you are looking for a tipping service, you have come to the wrong place. If you are looking for an easy-to-use system that has consistently made excellent profits every week since it started, then VSRX might be for you.
So, Alfred, call the office (I know you have the number) and come along and see it for yourself. You have nothing to lose and are under no obligation to buy. You will get to use the system, see it work in real-time and have all your questions answered openly and candidly. Then, at least you will go away being fully informed and be able to think it over to your hearts content.

I am considering attending a demonstration of the Equinex/Equitrack VSR system at the Cheshunt office of this firm, with a view of buying the software.
Can anyone provide me with any evidence that their scheme works and pays for itself and makes a profit. Also what amount of time per day is required to use it. I am basically looking for a ‘tipping’ service by email/text which lists any horses on each day which fall into the criteria of being considered Equinex definites ! Whilst their info by post is quite well presented there seems a reluctance to provide any recent past performance charts etc.
My phone number is 0117 9739 830 if it is easier to speak !

Still nothing from Steven but I would like to hear from you my number is below, if you scroll down. Intrigued by the Mass index and how it only takes 10 mins, if thats the case I may be in a position to look at it.

Hi Andy,
Can’t understand you wanting to sell to be honest mate…… Mass Index is working really well….. 24 places out of the last 26 recommendations… And it takes no more than 10 minutes to access and place your investments.

I have bought this subject up with Steven by phone and e-mail a few times in the past but it has always been overlooked. As Steven bought the subject up on this site I thought this would be as good a place as any to persue the matter. Still not heard from him though?

Steve
Glad to hear the 80 copies you have allocated for this year are going like hot cakes. As this is the situation I can only assume that you will now be more than happy to buy my copy back and sell it on. As I have pointed out you have made a profit from me as I will be selling it back for less and then you can sell it on at a profit again and as the VAT is already paid you can give someone a bargain. Look forward to hearing from you.
Andy

Thanks for bringing that up!
As our system generates such a high degree of winners and profits every week, we ask all new users to open their Betfair account using our link.
The reason is plain and simple! Betfair charge up to 5% commission on winnings (no charge for losses) for running the exchange and I think we would all agree, that is fair.
We have an agreement in place that they will pay us a small on-going percentage of the commission they charge on all accounts set up by using our link. This is worth up to £8,000 per year per users to us. The more money each user makes – the more our kick-back from the exchange is worth.
It does not affect the end user – but comes directly from Betfair.
Bearing in mind that sales of this system will cease when our last copy is sold (should be somewhere around late September at the current rate), this ‘kick-back’ helps to ensure we can keep all the support services going for many years to come for all members.
Now, just taking the period since my last posting (25th June – posting 123) as an example: VSRX has made another £1,427 to £100 level stakes using the system from Mondays to Fridays – so that is in 6 betting days!
This is probably why we get comments from people who actually use the system like the following:
Sent: Monday, June 29, 2009 10:15 AM
Dear Barry and Steve,
A quick update after 4 weeks with my vsr export system—absolutely great had some winners on Saturday after a great week. The system is as efficient as you said, and back up support from yourselves and Sharon when I have had a query is excellent. Its great to know I have peace of mind that I will be able to retire earlier than I planned and still enjoy a consistent income. So I would like to thank you all for your great teamwork. Please feel free to show this letter to anyone who is considering joining the Equinex community as I hesitated to join and it has been my best decision in years.
Best Regards,
Alan.T.
Considering that setting up a Betfair account through us costs the end user nothing, I can’t really see any intelligent person thinking that is unreasonable! Obviously, Alan T didn’t.

Hi Gurkamal,
Set up your own Betfair account and see the reaction you get from Steve in Equinex and that Goes for everybody else, if you are still thinking of buying this means of taking around £4000 out of your pocket for no guarantees whatsoever, please set up your own BETFAIR accounts. This can be done very easily by going to the Betfair website and calling them direct and not through a third party like EQUINEX.

Hi Gurkamal,
Thought you might like a quick update on the Mass Index highlight performance since my last posting as I know you’re keen to get started .. and you’ve already seen VSRX making money in real-time when you came for a live demonstration.
As you can see, we only had one loss in the last 16 Mass Index selections (highlights) giving a place bet profit of £1,062 (at £100 stakes)for the last 4 days (date of my last posting).

If Andy is still willing to sell you his copy I’d grab it with both hands before someone else does (as he’s put his number on this blog!).
As you know, we allocated just 80 copies for sale in 2009 and we are selling out faster than expected (guess the word has got out)- so if you don’t get a move on you won’t be able to get one from Andy or us.
Speak to you soon, Gurkamal.

you have read Steves comments I assume and he is quite happy for you to buy my software. My number is already on here below but here it is again 07941396749. I look forward to hearing from you.
Comment by Andy B – June 21, 2009 @ 6:33 pm
Hi Gurkamal,
If Andy is willing to sell his copy to you we would have no objection. His software produces the same ratings we all download and use at the core of the place system as well s part of the Mass Index selections.
Once you have signed the owners confidentiality agreement and set up your Betfair account through us, you will have the software owners right to be able to subscribe to our secure website services and get access to Place bet system and Mass Index as well (which is derived directly from the ratings). Mass Index allows you to place bets without having to watch the market before a race i.e. bets can generally all be placed at once if you wish.
Only two Mass Index selections were highlighted yesterday (20th June).. 2:25 Ayr Firebet (won 7/2) and 2:50 Redcar Master Nimbus (won 3/1) and both could have been placed following download at around 1pm.
The old win and place method of reading the ratings that Andy refers to still works providing you stick to a special set of race types and conditions but it is far more complex than the methods we use for using the ratings these days.
If you both agree and do not wish to put your phone numbers on here I will be happy to call either of you and supply the others number (with your permission) if you wish. Just call me at the office to let me know and I’ll arrange it for you.
