Avoid the scams, find out which Business Opportunities actually work
March 14, 2007
Filed under: General Opportunities, HYIPs — Ben @ 2:29 pm

I’ve recently received several emails about this one. It’s called the “Global Pension Plan” and promises to help you turn €30 into €55,000 or more!

I got the following email and decided to look into it:

“Hi Ben
Could you be kind enough to look into this opportunity for me, what’s your opinon on this one, sounds too good to be true!….has it got scam written all over it? it was passed on to me by friend.
thanks for your time
Phil”

Well, I had a good look at the site and tried to find out who is behind it and what is going on.

Rather than take up space here, please visit the main site:

Global Pension Plan - Is it a Scam?

Once you’ve read the report there, please feel free to comment on this blog or send me an email to the usual address.

Thanks,

Ben

*UPDATE 23/02/2008* - I’ve had to remove some comments as the blog was collapsing under the weight!

*UPDATE 13/11/2008* - I’ve had a few problems with the blog over the past 24 hours which resulted in a restore from backup. Consequently you may find some rogue symbols dotted around the place - especially where there used to be a € or £ sign. Apologies for this but there are far too many for me to correct!

*UPDATE 22/12/2008* - Just for fun: The Global Pension Plan - Stella’s Updates

*UPDATE 16/06/2009* - Now that Stella is gone or dead or whatever - she’s not writing the updates in any case - let’s just remind ourselves of when the final date for GPP is (from the official site):

20th of November, 2008
Deadline & General update

The Final Deadline: 31st of January 2009
During the last week and half we have been closely in touch with the insurance company and the financier of this project and agreed the final deadline to be set on the above mentioned date. The current turbulent financial climate has created a great pressure to finish the program as soon as possible. This date is absolute and means, that we MUST reach the initially set target of 100.000 qualified members. Otherwise the program closes without payout.”

Note that Stella said “this date is absolute” so it was surprising when the new ‘admin’ posted this:

10th of May, 2009
Update

Dear Global Pension Plan Members,
As per Trust Partner’s decision, we hereby announce the final closing date of Global Pension Plan: 06/30/2009 That is the 30th of June 2009.
The current number of fully qualified members is only slightly short of the 100.000 limit.
Trust Partner highly appreaciates your efforts and sends you best wishes and luck for the last month and a half.
Sincerely,
Admin”

*UPDATE 26/10/2009* - Apologies for the problems with the blog over the weekend. A new plugin caused the issues. All should be back to normal now…

Dear Stella, we live here in lovely Cape Town, why not hide in our home, you are welcome, lots of things to do, hiking in the mountains, going to numerous lovely beaches, a variety of shopping centres, you name it. Please leave your money outside and give us a debit card so we can also take part in your windfall :-)

Extan, you didn’t get my point, probably. I meant that you can learn from this, and avoid other scams in the future. Or, just be optimistic and wait for the payout(which will not happen). If I was a participant in this, I’d be very careful not to send any personal documents there, and limit the personal damage to 40-50$. One might argue that, they have no use for those documents, and they can’t be used for identity theft, but I think it’s a real risk. After all, they managed to scam ~100000 people, so it shows their skills as con-artists…

This GPP is surely a big scam, website too long off, taking us for a ride, they would be well advised to stick to their promised plan, there is no place to hide, somebody would smoke them out!

I’m sorry, I just have to say just one more time that this is just rediculous! Though I grow tired of these scams, I just cannot let another one begin without getting the word out! This is another of “Stella’s” upcoming scams! Just wait till I litter the web with info on this scam!!

Truly, I invite you all to review this. No phone number I’ll bet no one can find! Give us a national address to send cash to. Why not allow for a bank, a real bank to handle these money transfers. Let my banks send my money to… Yes I have lots of money to send to your new program! It’s sitting in my bank just wasiting to be sent. I’ll bet that you won’t provide us with that info.

So, Stell, what do you think about that?

I’m going to be so all over this nonsense. Oh, don’t think that I dont know of your other scams being pulled at the moment. Oh I’m so on it!

Everyone, once again, I’d like you all to see the similarities between the two…

I can’t stand this!!! Stella, prove me wrong. Give up the $ to these good people…

My goodness! This scam is all over the place! Meaning, this can be found everywhere under this domain! This is outrageous! I even see this listed under SEVERAL other domains! These clowns are making so much money… Looks like the dollars have not been made yet, but they are on a mission!

Looks like a prime candidate for me to get the word out on. They have flooded the internet w/ many who are telling how good the site is, using certain types of email addresses, and other suspicious activities. Unless this can be proven to me, I’m going to take steps to shut this plan down!

I invite someone to tell me otherwise before I waste my time running after these clown’s efforts. Seems like they have spent a lot of money. I hope, I really do hope that this can be proven to be something real… HA! I’ll do further resarch. If I don’t get a phone number, it’s all over with. I’ll let the internet, yes the internet know that this is a scam. I know how to get a word out, I know how to get the word on it, and I know that there is someone out there who can do a better job than I can! I envite you all to look at this upcoming scam!!!

    Thoughts?

EXTAN, point well taken. We should not in effect provide information to these clowns. We will have to join together after this scam has finally come to an end. This truly gets my goat, so to speak…

Downhomeguy, I understand your pain, especially from your fathers standpoint. A friend of mine also established a long line of people to join in this scam. A painful lesson indeed.

Everyone, as was said earlier, it’s not so much the money (in some cases), but the expectations, the dreams, the hopes of those who have participated which is the worst part of this crime.

Rokka, indeed we did all fall into this decision to disregard the “if it’s too good, it probably is” saying. I’ll tell you, I wanted to believe, but upon further thought, investigation, realized that such a program was not possible. For goodness sake, why would anyone who has a child… hopeing to go to college, pay all of this money for a 529 or any educatn based program, when something like this could pay for not only college, but a car and perhaps even a place to stay/live.

I only wish that I knew of this blog earlier. In fact, for others sake, I wish that I knew of this plan. Indeed I found that this had to be a scam, and would have shared this with my fellow man. Of course I figured this after the dollars were gone (which was quite recently)(another victim of a down line).

It angers me that people have been waiting for 3 yrs or so. How unfair to play on others hopes for so long…

AB, I hope not to sound insulting , but wouldn’t you agree that this is also a scam? A new one in fact? I must say that I am impressed by how much info is out there on this site. An amazing amount. EVERYONE, this is most assuredly a new scam! This made possible by good web designers. I will not say how I can see that this is a scam… but sadly, it is. Tell you what, why don’t they let me borrow this 50 bucks and then pay them back after I get my 80 thousand… Hmmm now for another scam to dismantle. Anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to prevent people from falling prey to yet another of these scams?

Say if you were member 1 or 2… It’s been a long time coming, a long time indeed..

the 100000 people thing is all a part for the marketing ploy, it creats the urgency to join.

personally I think the magic number was reached a long time ago, if they where even counting along the way.

Another thing that makes me say hhmmmm… why not just take all the info that they need when you first sign up??? It’s not like they did have a up and running web site. The partial account info is there anyways

Stelliar what do you have to say to that?

The total of 100000 members was only reached late last year, so 154% in a few month sounds impossible, 3 years ago how many members were there, just a few, so please check your sums :-) .Anyway enjoy it!

Roccas letter seems to be inconclusive, he rightly remarked on the zero info we have on GPP, but then he said we should be optimistic about it, they are going to pay out (I hope too!!). You know it’s not about to admit to have been scammed, I once had another scheme which was worked out so well (should have worked for all), but most humans are not really ready to take part so that everyone can win, downright stupid and very GREEDY, they can only mess it up! GPP should also work, but the advertised gains should have been more realistic, a gain of 154% over a short time seems to be too optimistic

Guys there are acouple of other RPP’s that have reached target, I am interested to find out from those members if they have heard anything regarding the payments owed to them. The 2 that spring to mind are:

1 WPP Target 20′000 part1 (http://www.worldpensionplus.com/)has finished part 1 and is now promising a pay out, Part 2 will comence in 72 hours

    2 LPP1 Target 2′000 Part1 (http://limited-fund-plan.com/)already started with there enrolement for plan2 Target 5′500 and plan 3 target ?

3 HCI has a very professional website with lots of info regarding there projects current, past and still pending.
Of all the sites I have looked at theirs would seem the most honest(if you could call it that).
They also have names, addresses, who, where, and when, also vacant positions available in the company, buy the sound of things this is not the first time that they are doing this pension stuff, above all advertise that they will refund you membership fee(less 7% admin) should the project not complete.
It makes you wonder were all of there previous projects successful. and did every get there pay outs.Just abit of food for thought!!

I am not a member, so…if there are any members registered with these RPP’s I have mentioned how about giving us a bit of input on your experiences and also what is the news under the member logins.

I mean, come on people, what did you expect? That some company(that nobody konows anything about) with a help of some investors(that nobody konows anything about), is helping you to get an pension insurance from a company(that nobody konows anything about) And magically it will turn your 50$ to 55000/110000$ in few months or so. It’s time for reality check: you don’t know who’s running the GPP “company”, you only know some finnish(which I doubt) woman called Stella, that’s all. You don’t know which company is providing the insurance, or who are these so-called trust partners. You don’t know where to send your personal info that you need for insurance, you don’t know which bank is providing the money, or to which bank GPP should pay your 55000$. So, your facts are pretty much close to zero. The only fact is that you’re out of 40$, which is not much. But multiply that with 100000(or who knows how many) people, and it’s already a decent amount of money for the scammers. It’s not easy to admit that you were scammed, but at least you can learn from it. Or you can stay positive and wait for the money to materialize. Just remember, there’s a difference between being optimistic, and being naive and stupid.

Well Mike, everyone should do some homework to find these GPP organizers, but not publish on here because then they would be warned and just relocate, anyway if they close down their website and run away with our money, if not already done, they will surely flee to Mexico, Angola, Japan or one of those secret places. Just imagine, more than 100000 clients and their friends and families, if just a few can exchange e-mail addresses and get properly organised, it is NOT about the 30 Euro that you lost, it is about our long held dreams being shattered by some GREEDY people and some of us would have gained millions of Euro through “hard” work!

hello everybody, please excuse my bad englisch

a friend of mine tells me that in russia they did the similar “game” as GPP. and that they get the payout! his upliner from GPP tells him this. he was going to GPP one year ago instead of the russian thing because hi did not trust the russian.

if they get the payout, it can work also for GPP, or not? if somebody of you have the time to investigate of this russian thing or maby get payout from there, please inform us here. thank you!

another thing: if there is a real stella, she would never post here, if she is criminal or sincere. nor the criminal stella, nor the sincere stella would get her energy inside this discussion. she would be quiet (the criminal), or she would post in the GPP forum.
so the question for stelliar is: to give you here as stella, will give you a bad feeling inside, you can feel it to look in your eyes in the mirror every morning (did you look in to them allready for more as two seconds?). are you comfortable in your own personality? seems not, because you presumed to be another. you must have this problem since longer time, did you? so please try to be youself in your life, accepting also the shadows in your personality. try to solve your own problems and to get a free person. stop it immediately to post here and making some games with other peoples “problems”. it will give you more personally problems then less!

everybody: dont react on the stelliar-postings. dont give energy on that game, we are giving energy enough on GPP!

I am sad to find out that my Dad purchased numerous policies and has even become an “upline” guy. Former college professor and one of the most intelligent men I know. Perceived desperation leads to vulnerability, and I fear that G.P.P. has taken advantage of so many, who have had such high hopes.

    Busting,

I’ll go one step further… Send me only $20 and I set everyone up with 1 Million dollars each! This to be paid in only 100 yrs! It’s a win win situation! Now if you catch me driving around in a Benz, it’s just because of all of the money that I made off of this scam! lol… Unfortunately this actually is not funny.

    Extan,

You are sure right, this world traveler must be running low on funds now. How about some $5.00 policies! Yea! These too, I’d take it would pay the whole contract payment huh?

Seems like you did some good work in finding this clown. I know of someone on a dirrerent board looking for them too! If only I did some resarch and knew about this before hand, I would surely have
informed everyone that I could find and put a hole in their profits. You know I can’t even call that a profit. That would imply that these monies were obtained by actual legal, morale or the like kind of means. Not, what is in effect, stealing.

Well everyone, after the next couple of days has passed, and Stella and Co. has either established a new expiration date or simply breaks camp, we can still join here and attempt to find what else they may do to scam others. I’ll be watching…
