I’ve recently received several emails about this one. It’s called the “Global Pension Plan” and promises to help you turn €30 into €55,000 or more!
I got the following email and decided to look into it:
“Hi Ben
Could you be kind enough to look into this opportunity for me, what’s your opinon on this one, sounds too good to be true!….has it got scam written all over it? it was passed on to me by friend.
thanks for your time
Phil”
Well, I had a good look at the site and tried to find out who is behind it and what is going on.
Rather than take up space here, please visit the main site:
Global Pension Plan - Is it a Scam?
Once you’ve read the report there, please feel free to comment on this blog or send me an email to the usual address.
Thanks,
Ben
*UPDATE 23/02/2008* - I’ve had to remove some comments as the blog was collapsing under the weight!
These comments have been archived and you can view them here:

*UPDATE 13/11/2008* - I’ve had a few problems with the blog over the past 24 hours which resulted in a restore from backup. Consequently you may find some rogue symbols dotted around the place - especially where there used to be a € or £ sign. Apologies for this but there are far too many for me to correct!
*UPDATE 22/12/2008* - Just for fun: The Global Pension Plan - Stella’s Updates
*UPDATE 16/06/2009* - Now that Stella is gone or dead or whatever - she’s not writing the updates in any case - let’s just remind ourselves of when the final date for GPP is (from the official site):
“20th of November, 2008
Deadline & General updateThe Final Deadline: 31st of January 2009
During the last week and half we have been closely in touch with the insurance company and the financier of this project and agreed the final deadline to be set on the above mentioned date. The current turbulent financial climate has created a great pressure to finish the program as soon as possible. This date is absolute and means, that we MUST reach the initially set target of 100.000 qualified members. Otherwise the program closes without payout.”
Note that Stella said “this date is absolute” so it was surprising when the new ‘admin’ posted this:
“10th of May, 2009
UpdateDear Global Pension Plan Members,
As per Trust Partner’s decision, we hereby announce the final closing date of Global Pension Plan: 06/30/2009 That is the 30th of June 2009.
The current number of fully qualified members is only slightly short of the 100.000 limit.
Trust Partner highly appreaciates your efforts and sends you best wishes and luck for the last month and a half.
Sincerely,
Admin”
*UPDATE 26/10/2009* - Apologies for the problems with the blog over the weekend. A new plugin caused the issues. All should be back to normal now…
Nancy, do not feel stupid. Everyone contributing to this blog was probably taken in by this scam at some point including myself. I joined about three years ago and was told back then that I has barely made it since there were so few spots left. They were only taking 100,000 - so they claimed. Payout was to be in time for Christmas. That was changed to Febuary, then April, then before Christmas again, then definitely 2nd week in January, then …… It’s been 3 years. Ignore any hopeful thoughts that may want to arise in your within you concerning this. It is a dry well and always has been.

It is hurts to think how easily we can be cheated … and be made use of.

I wouldn’t blame all sponsors. Many of them were fooled as well. As for GPP support, they may reply, may not.

Nancy
mizzy is right,
GPP for several years say they are close and have to pay never do, never pay,
We always come with a new excuse, of which many members agreed that GPP is a fraud.

Nancy
what you can do is denounce your sponsor to the police where you live,
to promote GPP, as this program GPP IS SCAM.
long time that are already lying to the members.

Thanks guys.
Stupid me believing in something base on nothing!

Nancy don’t take any notice of your upline.
Your upline is a scam enabler.
Comment by gppisascam – November 27, 2009 @ 7:48 am
Nancy.. sorry but you won’t receive emails. and your sponsor is full of it! Even GPP says that they can’t tell for sure that they will pay out. If you read the forum, you can see how often they’ve been THAT CLOSE to pay out. So how will your Sponsor know?! How will he know that this is real? Everybody else knows that this is scam!! Sorry Girl…

Nancy
referred to the payments will come soon, when,
will be within 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, when
, Is about the month of December and there are no payments of GPP,
this is outrageous.
well that will be good to ask your sponsor for GPP
but seems like a scam.
Comment by Greg – November 26, 2009 @ 9:40 pm
But my sponsor has been telling me that the program is real and it wills payout very soon! He also told me that additional policies are still available and encourage buying more.
I know nothing about internet investment (or scam) not until I smell the “danger” when he pushed me to buy more additional policies. He even told me that if I have any doubt about the program I can write to GPP support admin Cause I received no reply till today.

Nancy you don’t understand yet do you ! GPP is a scam !!!
There are no insurance companies, banks and policies etc.
GPP just take your money and laugh at you.
They don’t even bother with the pretense that they are real any more.

“The case pre-trial investigation should be completed early in the year.”
Here’se some news from Finland regarding GPP. It’s all in finnish, but feel free to translate it how ever you like. I translated just the last sentence of the story, which says that at least some scammers are going to face justice.
Matti Kärsämä being one of them,I hope…

Comment by Nancy – November 24, 2009 @ 5:59 pm
Illness & murder are popular too sans details.
Comment by sleeper – November 23, 2009 @ 2:23 pm
Dying in a car or plane crash is a popular way for these folks to go. Of course, specific details, like names, dates, & location are never given.
Comment by sleeper – November 23, 2009 @ 2:18 pm
I don’t know about WPP. But, the trend with companies like these is to knock off the visable head, designed I suppose to muddy the waters and keep us guessing.
Comment by sleeper – November 23, 2009 @ 2:07 pm
Thats true Sleeper. Sad sad sad….Stella sounds like Kira in WPP. If the next one is Sarah or a Ella or Amber we all will know who it is wont WE!!!
