I’ve recently received several emails about this one. It’s called the “Global Pension Plan” and promises to help you turn €30 into €55,000 or more!
I got the following email and decided to look into it:
“Hi Ben
Could you be kind enough to look into this opportunity for me, what’s your opinon on this one, sounds too good to be true!….has it got scam written all over it? it was passed on to me by friend.
thanks for your time
Phil”
Well, I had a good look at the site and tried to find out who is behind it and what is going on.
Rather than take up space here, please visit the main site:
Global Pension Plan - Is it a Scam?
Once you’ve read the report there, please feel free to comment on this blog or send me an email to the usual address.
Thanks,
Ben
*UPDATE 23/02/2008* - I’ve had to remove some comments as the blog was collapsing under the weight!

*UPDATE 13/11/2008* - I’ve had a few problems with the blog over the past 24 hours which resulted in a restore from backup. Consequently you may find some rogue symbols dotted around the place - especially where there used to be a € or £ sign. Apologies for this but there are far too many for me to correct!
*UPDATE 22/12/2008* - Just for fun: The Global Pension Plan - Stella’s Updates
*UPDATE 16/06/2009* - Now that Stella is gone or dead or whatever - she’s not writing the updates in any case - let’s just remind ourselves of when the final date for GPP is (from the official site):
“20th of November, 2008
Deadline & General updateThe Final Deadline: 31st of January 2009
During the last week and half we have been closely in touch with the insurance company and the financier of this project and agreed the final deadline to be set on the above mentioned date. The current turbulent financial climate has created a great pressure to finish the program as soon as possible. This date is absolute and means, that we MUST reach the initially set target of 100.000 qualified members. Otherwise the program closes without payout.”
Note that Stella said “this date is absolute” so it was surprising when the new ‘admin’ posted this:
“10th of May, 2009
UpdateDear Global Pension Plan Members,
As per Trust Partner’s decision, we hereby announce the final closing date of Global Pension Plan: 06/30/2009 That is the 30th of June 2009.
The current number of fully qualified members is only slightly short of the 100.000 limit.
Trust Partner highly appreaciates your efforts and sends you best wishes and luck for the last month and a half.
Sincerely,
Admin”
*UPDATE 26/10/2009* - Apologies for the problems with the blog over the weekend. A new plugin caused the issues. All should be back to normal now…

I think that if people want to believe and have faith in getting their money then they should, I think some people on here are so low, they sound so desperate to convince people its not real.. I personally still have faith in GPP but I may be wrong (i probably am wrong) but at the end of the day, this forum is good for updates and discussions but some people sound so pathetic! Burt, I admire your passion for it, and when I read posts like yours it makes me smile… I like believing that my money is coming!! I hope it does come, then everyone who is going out of their ways to pursuade people its not happening will be gutted they didnt pay the admin fee!!

Burt,
Exactly how gullible are you ?
Do you always believe everything you’re told ?
All the updates posted by GPP are bullshit.

They have never promised that they should pay-out last year. They had hoped they could finish the program last year. But it is very easy to scream that GPP is a scam. It is not that I totally trust on a pay-out but I think there is still a change. Everybody who joined this program and read all the the info and facts on there website could have known that there was always a change that they never should pay-out because at first when they should not reach the 100.000 members they should close the program and nobody should get payed-out. A lot of members has never read all the info ass well before as after they joined and then it is easy to complain. As I know a lot of members never looks anymore to the site and program and expects that there up-line will take care for that. That is also one of the problems why the program has delayed besides the few times that the web-site has been hacked, the negative publications and writing and one of the greatest problems was that a very large number of members didn’t want to sent in there ID’s and documents. For that big number they had and we all had to find new members. I think, that only the delayed the program a whole year. So a whole part of the program is delayed by those stupid members self. But what is 12.000.000,- dollar in five years, that is not where GPP was going for. They were going for much and much bigger numbers. I agree that some deadlines has passed and changed but on the other hand they are as depended to there members also to there business partners.
And that are for example the insurance-companys. When they change the rules for example that the last 26500 policies have to be sold before they will close the program, then we have an another delay. That last change made the whole program unreliable and very doubtful if they can pay-out. I’m sure that the insurance company doesn’t care about that but that doesn’t mean that GPP is only responsible for that. GPP will only get paid there part out of the policies as we do when the whole program succeeds. That are really interesting big numbers. It wouldn’t surprise me if the insurance company tries to break the whole program so they don’t have to pay GPP and there members. All the profit will then for them self. The history has shown us that the Insurance C.are often bigger crooks then there customers. I think GPP will show up soon again and then we will see what happens, there is still a change. First will those last 26000 policies have to be sold and that will take time. Stop with screaming it is a scam that’s to easy, you won’t change anything with that.

I find them cruel and inhumane to keep leading innocent people on. I believe greed always wins, which is what is happening here. The numbers just don’t add up… there will not be a payout.
Comment by lessthan.0001%chance – January 6, 2010 @ 7:15 pm
Burt: GPP has already been paid, about $10-12 Million dollars worth. It is called the $30 admin fee. There are no policies, there isn’t any trust of Billionaires, there isn’t any insurance company, there isn’t any bank or financial institution to lend the money. As Random has said, this is a scam. All the wishing and hoping won’t change that fact.

Burt
It’s a scam
no payout last year…. as promiced
No payout the year before…. as promiced
no Payout this year… as I am sure will be pledged.
Get real

Now, one day later on the 6th of Jan. I got also e-mail from GPP. Even three times the same.
But still no web-site. Let’s be patient, i think in about two weeks they will be back in one or another way. This has happened a several times before. It is no guaranty for success but still there is a change. Don’t panic. Try to stay positive because it is no scam. I have enough info to know that it is no scam. But like every business-plan it can succeed or not. But if insurance companies change there demands then will GPP even a victim as we are. GPP will only get paid as us if the whole plan will be successful.

What are you talking about? I have n’t got any e-mail and the website still doesn’t show-up.

But “final” does not mean “final” in GPP speak. It means it is “final” for that phase, but then we have a new “final, final” date, which is then followed by a new “final, final, final” date; which goes on forever.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU, AND ALL THE BEST!
