Avoid the scams, find out which Business Opportunities actually work
March 14, 2007
Filed under: General Opportunities, HYIPs — Ben @ 2:29 pm

I’ve recently received several emails about this one. It’s called the “Global Pension Plan” and promises to help you turn €30 into €55,000 or more!

I got the following email and decided to look into it:

“Hi Ben
Could you be kind enough to look into this opportunity for me, what’s your opinon on this one, sounds too good to be true!….has it got scam written all over it? it was passed on to me by friend.
thanks for your time
Phil”

Well, I had a good look at the site and tried to find out who is behind it and what is going on.

Rather than take up space here, please visit the main site:

Global Pension Plan - Is it a Scam?

Once you’ve read the report there, please feel free to comment on this blog or send me an email to the usual address.

Thanks,

Ben

*UPDATE 23/02/2008* - I’ve had to remove some comments as the blog was collapsing under the weight!

*UPDATE 13/11/2008* - I’ve had a few problems with the blog over the past 24 hours which resulted in a restore from backup. Consequently you may find some rogue symbols dotted around the place - especially where there used to be a € or £ sign. Apologies for this but there are far too many for me to correct!

*UPDATE 22/12/2008* - Just for fun: The Global Pension Plan - Stella’s Updates

*UPDATE 16/06/2009* - Now that Stella is gone or dead or whatever - she’s not writing the updates in any case - let’s just remind ourselves of when the final date for GPP is (from the official site):

20th of November, 2008
Deadline & General update

The Final Deadline: 31st of January 2009
During the last week and half we have been closely in touch with the insurance company and the financier of this project and agreed the final deadline to be set on the above mentioned date. The current turbulent financial climate has created a great pressure to finish the program as soon as possible. This date is absolute and means, that we MUST reach the initially set target of 100.000 qualified members. Otherwise the program closes without payout.”

Note that Stella said “this date is absolute” so it was surprising when the new ‘admin’ posted this:

10th of May, 2009
Update

Dear Global Pension Plan Members,
As per Trust Partner’s decision, we hereby announce the final closing date of Global Pension Plan: 06/30/2009 That is the 30th of June 2009.
The current number of fully qualified members is only slightly short of the 100.000 limit.
Trust Partner highly appreaciates your efforts and sends you best wishes and luck for the last month and a half.
Sincerely,
Admin”

*UPDATE 26/10/2009* - Apologies for the problems with the blog over the weekend. A new plugin caused the issues. All should be back to normal now…

However, I do find it sad and very concerning that potentiall vulnerable people have given copies of their ID to total strangers- it is this that I would worry about rather than the £25. This could be very damaging.

    Sorry
    I always have
I always will think it is funny that people think this will pay.

These people are loaded thanks to this. Sure, go on hoping… how long can this daft belief go on? How much richer can you make these people?

Stop laughing there is a serious new update

    http://www.global-final-step.net/members/secret/0000_sjdnxce9r_0000/index.php

    08th of Jan, 2010
    Update

    Dear Members,
This is a general update regarding the current situation of Global Pension Plan program and it’s near future.
First of all, Happy New Year 2010 to you all!
As most of you have noticed, we have had problems with our website recently. It’s been offline for a moment. We did send out a message about the problem, but a big number of the messages have not reached the recipients for a reason or another. However, the problem has been solved by now. We had to transfer the website under a new domain, as the old one was suffering from sabotage. The new web presence is remarkably more stable and should resist the attacks better. If you click http://www.global-final-step.net, you will find exactly the same site and member area as you were used to find from the previous domain.
We still have around 20.000 unclaimed Additional Policies available. After the last update regarding the remaining Additional Policies, the demand jumped for a little moment, but settled down soon again. It’s highly necessary to understand, that the Trust Partner will wait until all these have been snapped up. You might wonder why is it so important to have them all sold. The reason is, that once sold, the Trust Partner is able to negotiate a better deal with the insurance company for the further deals. This is plain economics and wise long-term planning.
We can’t stress enough, that there is a contractual dead-line for the Additional Policies, though. The current contract between the Trust partner and other parties have, runs till the 28th of February 2010. If the entire batch of Additional Policies hasn’t been sold out until that date, it means the parties have to renegotiate the contract. It is by no mean a catastrophe, but only delays us a month or two, depending on the progression of the renewal process. That is, however, something we definitely don’t want.
There were some CG payment problems during the early stage of the very recent website problems. These we have tried to iron out by now. If you still think, that your problem has not been solved, please contact us via the email address you got from the payment processor while complaining about the hick up.
    More updates later!
    Sincerely,
    Admin

Well, just thought I’d check in to see whats new in GPP land.
And I see that it is the usual daily dose of anger. lol
    To Burt and Faye:
This is a forum/blog. People can express their “opinions” based on experiences they have had with this GPP thing. It is to help inform others who may be thinking of joining. So that the new people can see both sides of the spectrum, the naysers and the believers. This way they can make their choices a little more informed.
There is no point in arguing as both sides think they are right. So there is no point in getting upset.
If you dont like someones opinion, then dont acknowledge it.
The naysers base their opinion on endless excuses from GPP. And the believers base their opinions on blind faith (since there is no proof of this ever paying anyone anything).
If this is a scam, the point isnt that it is just a few dollars. Its a few dollars from millions of people. Some of these people are in a bad way financially, and really need this money to help them. Others are people who are reasonably ok financially or better, they dont really “need” the money, they just want it,so to them, its no big deal either way.
My friend who is poor (she is in her 50’s, disabled, cant work, and gets very little money from the state-her only source of income) really needs this money. And she has been strung along since 2007. Just when she thinks her ship has come in, it doesnt.
If GPP is a scam, then they are stealing people’s hopes and dreams, for that, they should go to jail.
If they are not a scam, then they should find a way to pay out. I mean, who starts a business (or whatever) with out properly knowing how to pay people out? As that was the problem in January of 2008.
Whatever, be you nayser (like me) or believer, this is where you can voice your opinion.
    Anyhoo. theres my two sense!

In America you have freedom of speech and you can believe whatever you want. If it pays it pays(GPP)……if it doesn’t it doesn’t(GPP). You can believe it won’t and people have a right to believe it will…..so just be. You can’t change that……find something else to talk about. Look in the mirror and talk to yourself. Create a program that will. You are beating a dead horse. Move on…..you are wasting your precious air. BLA BLA BLA…..

No- you can go on until your dying day thinking you will get a payout. You will probably encourage your mates to sign up. Maybe buy multiple policies and make stelle et al even richer.

You are willing to risk your ID- a valuable commodity to fraudsters,

You are not a child waiting for Santa, you are an adult thinking the impossible, It is a totally implausible scam,

Face reality: IT IS A SCAM
    IT HAS NEVER PAID
    IT WILL NEVER PAY

In another 5 years- will you still think this is real? Rubbing your hands at the thought you got something for nothing.

  9. 2332

because by believing this scam without questioning, you are showing a great deal of ignorance.

STILL holding faith after all this time? Not bright.

The people who run this scam are now loaded, they have your money, they are spending your money.

If you think it will payout… no chance.

And how are people who believe going to look stupid?

    Comment by Faye – January 8, 2010 @ 2:39 pm

  11. 2330

Interests you? Oh ok…fascinating. Its like saying it interests you that people believe in God or Father Christmas.. my point is that you’re completely ripping into people who have hope in this programme and I dont think its fair at all. Just because YOU dont believe in the programme doesnt mean that everyone has to go with you

  12. 2329

    Faye
if doesn’t drive me insane, it interests me that people are so gullible. And it is pretty funny

Sure, to take an odd punt a few years ago but to really think you will be made rich for doing nothing despite overwealming evidence to the contrary….. not too bright

  13. 2328

    MY GOD
We would not have had a payout a year ago
we will not have a payout in 10 years

IT is so obviously a scam- you have made some people very rich and they are sat laughing AT YOU

If you still believe, fine- but expect to look even more stupid as the years pass.

to random passer: Is there nobody who understand that all those deadlines were maybe made to try to activate all the members to send in there Id’s and documents. All those stupids who ordered a TEP on a birthday party without reading and understanding the whole plan. If then, they could have known that they should had to deliver once there ID and documents. So if a lot of those stupids should have done there homework right away we could have probably had our pay-out already a year ago.

  17. 2324

But who are you to tell people what they should believe?! For some reason it drives you insane that people are believing it still exsists? Why is this?

    to gppisascam

If you had n’t believed in the program at first then you shouldn’t have joined the program.
When I had read all the info and thought that I also understood what was written on the website, I thought this looks like a good opportunity a good change to make some profit but also a change to lose my investment. It looked better then a lottery but still it is. But of course I don’t believe everything they write. Do you tell everything honestly to your wife? You will possible have a good reason for that. But everybody could know that they could win and they could lose this game. Let’s hope that we all will win.

just a reminder of the 2008 update

    October 22, 2007

We have finally figured out the deadline for the program, and here it comes! This is going to give the members a clear schedule how to work towards the rewards.

    - program will be closed on the 31st of December 2007

    - documents have to be provided during January 2008

    - payout will be between the 15th and 29th of February 2008

    Comment by random passer by – January 8, 2010 @ 11:44 am

  20. 2321

Burt, why would more policies have to be sold?

First of all they said the programme would close no matter how many policies were told at a certain date

Then it was the magic 100,000 and this would mean programme closure

then it was all the extra policies

My god, it is staggering that people ever thought this would pay out 5 years ago… let alone now.
