Avoid the scams, find out which Business Opportunities actually work
March 14, 2007
Filed under: General Opportunities, HYIPs — Ben @ 2:29 pm

I’ve recently received several emails about this one. It’s called the “Global Pension Plan” and promises to help you turn €30 into €55,000 or more!

I got the following email and decided to look into it:

“Hi Ben
Could you be kind enough to look into this opportunity for me, what’s your opinon on this one, sounds too good to be true!….has it got scam written all over it? it was passed on to me by friend.
thanks for your time
Phil”

Well, I had a good look at the site and tried to find out who is behind it and what is going on.

Rather than take up space here, please visit the main site:

Global Pension Plan - Is it a Scam?

Once you’ve read the report there, please feel free to comment on this blog or send me an email to the usual address.

Thanks,

Ben

*UPDATE 13/11/2008* - I’ve had a few problems with the blog over the past 24 hours which resulted in a restore from backup. Consequently you may find some rogue symbols dotted around the place - especially where there used to be a € or £ sign. Apologies for this but there are far too many for me to correct!

*UPDATE 22/12/2008* - Just for fun: The Global Pension Plan - Stella’s Updates

*UPDATE 16/06/2009* - Now that Stella is gone or dead or whatever - she’s not writing the updates in any case - let’s just remind ourselves of when the final date for GPP is (from the official site):

20th of November, 2008
Deadline & General update

The Final Deadline: 31st of January 2009
During the last week and half we have been closely in touch with the insurance company and the financier of this project and agreed the final deadline to be set on the above mentioned date. The current turbulent financial climate has created a great pressure to finish the program as soon as possible. This date is absolute and means, that we MUST reach the initially set target of 100.000 qualified members. Otherwise the program closes without payout.”

Note that Stella said “this date is absolute” so it was surprising when the new ‘admin’ posted this:

10th of May, 2009
Update

Dear Global Pension Plan Members,
As per Trust Partner’s decision, we hereby announce the final closing date of Global Pension Plan: 06/30/2009 That is the 30th of June 2009.
The current number of fully qualified members is only slightly short of the 100.000 limit.
Trust Partner highly appreaciates your efforts and sends you best wishes and luck for the last month and a half.
Sincerely,
Admin”

*UPDATE 26/10/2009* - Apologies for the problems with the blog over the weekend. A new plugin caused the issues. All should be back to normal now…

Angie, simply because there is NOTHING for them to “get on with it”. You see, GPP’s income comes from the money members send them by e-currencies. If they stop “selling policies” today then it means no more income for them, and that defeats their purpose of renewing a domain for another year. No matter what you hope they do, I can tell you that for the next 12 months, they will keep dragging this along. After that, either they renew their domain for another year of delays and excuses, or they decide to call it a day and simply disappear. The latter is a good probability, considering the more they stay online, the riskier it is for them to be investigated by authorities, because day by day more and more people report them as fraud. Mark my words. Oh, and one last thing : No, you will NEVER receive a working debit card from them. Because it does NOT exist and it was NEVER their intention to send it to you. I’ll make it really clear : there was NEVER any intention from GPP that they’re going to PAY. The whole thing is just a simple concept from the beginning : the only money changing hands is from YOU to THEM. It will NEVER be the other way around. One month from now, one year from now, ten years from now, you’ll realize that I’m right.

No one I know has encountered this problem. Some have said that there is absolutely no sign of any further policies being sold. But with all the bad things said about RPPs and GPP and MPP in paricular, it is not surprising. The GPP website says it is not vital that the extra 20,000 policies be sold so why don’t they just get on with it?

I can already tell you now what GPP will be doing. That will be the true test for you and your words.

After February 28, there are 2 alternatives. First, they will extend their deadline for another couple of months.

Secondly, they will lie and tell you that either all policies have been bought by members, or that “suddenly” they did not have to sell those “remaining” policies.

If the second scenario happens, they WILL announce the sale of a banking solution (ex debitcard) for each member. (No, contrary to “updates from leaders with inside info”, there is currently NO debitcard being sent anywhere. The only people saying so are either the ones making up stories about receving a card and the ones delusionally thinking there is a card already on the way and could arrive anytime now).

They will tell you that every member HAS to purchase the debitcard if they want to get paid from GPP. Those who do not wish to purchase one will be paid LAST after everyone else (this is to “encourage” them to buy the card on “their own FREE WILL”. They will say either each member has to purchase one card, or one card is needed for each “policy” (this will be “bad news” for those with 1,000 policies).

When GPP announce this, NOTE that ALL the STORIES you hear from your leaders, cheerleaders, upline, members or their dogs that they HAD RECEIVED a card, WILL BE PROVEN as LIES, LIES and LIES. CONFRONT whoever it was who tell you a card was on its way !

Now, when this happens, a LOT of VICTIMS, WILL be sending more MONEY to GPP. Their reasoning will be : “I’m in this too deep, I’ll take another $25 risk that GPP will PAY ME”.

You can’t help those idiots. They will PAY and then WAIT AGAIN. GPP will keep giving updates of delays and excuses for YEARS to come.

if you’re wondering, I WAS a victim of RPP just like you and many others. But it wasn’t GPP. It was ICC (I even forgot what it stood for) which then changed name to CPS (www (dot) capitalpreservationsociety (dot) com) which of course, has disappeared without a trace.

They had about 6,000 members who bought about 10,000 “policies”. They even had an active forum where they answered all members’ questions. I would go as far as saying that of all the RPP’s, they were the most convincing one and that was the reason I joined (yes, I was an idiot!).

But when I smelled rats, I exposed them in their own forum. You have no idea how many people BURNED me for even doubting their RPP. The scammers even took the time to address all my queries. Members were convinced it’s real and told me to shut the fcuk up and go to hell.

A short while later, their website suddenly disappeared overnight after they did not renew their domain.

And guess what ? Members like to pretend it NEVER happened. They do not like being reminded that they were complete idiots. WORSE is, some of them even went on promoting other RPP’s to even more people.

After that happened, it became a mission for me to expose these RPP scams whenever I have some spare time to do so. But there is so much I can do and I can’t help people who won’t help themselves. These people keep buying policies and they do what they think is wise to do : “DIVERSIFICATION”. Do you know what they do? They BUY policies from as many different RPP’s there are !!

That’s NOT “diversification”. That’s not “don’t put all your eggs in one basket”.

What they really do is put ALL their eggs in the same one basket : a basket of SCAMS called RPP’s!!

There is NO helping these people. They deserve what they put in.

They wake up every morning and check for updates from a dozen of their RPP admins before they even drink their coffee. They check updates from that dozen of RPP’s before they go to bed. They dream that someday, they will wake up being millionaires. This has been going on for YEARS now. And they will keep doing so for YEARS to come until one day, one by one of their precious, professional RPP’s with half-decent websites, disappear from the internet.

When it happens, they suddenly realize that they have no way to contact them in any way. No phone number, no fax number, no real address. And their “leaders with dirent contact / inside info” are just as clueless.

Then, the DENIAL phase begins. They will keep thinking that the RPP’s were FOR REAL but failed because a member screwed up by going to the authorities. Or because of the recession, etc etc.

And then , just like HYIP and RPP, one day another anonymous, internet-only opportunity comes knocking their door and the WHOLE THING happens all over again.

    There is no helping them.

I agree with you in that there should be an investigation. However, I also firmly believe that there is no insurance company, nor any insurance policies, and never was. The money that was sent in went directly into the thieves bank accounts and pockets…..just my opinion.
Can you imagine just how wealthy this scammers have become

    Hi all
For all those members of GPP living in the United States of America can come to offices FBI or Interpol IC3 to make their complaints and reports, can tell you that GPP is still receiving money for ostensibly sell 20,000 policies that are missing and no results, and so far there are no payments, and are already several years selling policies.
I suspect that something is really happening between GPP, and Insurance Company
Partners Trust, and the FBI and Interpol should investigate,
hopefully that has resulted from his research in the coming days.

GPP may not use the ID THEMSELVES - but they CAN sell it- credit cards in your name, bills, fake passports etc etc,

a fake ID is worth a lot of money.

Maybe they won’t use it, but I think a British/American fake ID could be invaluable.

I went bankrupt in 2005 GPP will not do big things with my identity and all my credit card are full so GPP better have good argu to use my name and identity…. If Gpp use our identity it will be easyer to catch them I don’t think they will play this game it is to much money on the table…

why did it say on the website- no refunds.

I invested £25 quid ‘just in case’ but didn’t bother sending in my ID… I have just sent an e mail for a refund.

    I won’t hold my breath!

Andy, Im curious, so I gotta ask:
1.)Did they get a refund Check?
2.)Or did your friends supply GPP with their checking account information and had the money transfered?
3.)Either way, what bank, town & county did the refund come from?
4.)How many years had they been vested in GPP? Years? or Months?
5.)If it is legitamit, why did they get a refund?
    6.)Did they re-invest?
Im not trying to be nasty, so dont take it that way. I hope you humor me and reveal the answers to these questions.
    Thank you in advance.

If It Walks: I know for a fact information was given to several federal agencies and these agencies are investigating GPP. What the status of that investigation is, I have no clue. Hope this helped.
