As you may have guessed, I am a bit of a fan of Sara Brown’s work and products.

Sara’s manuals tend to be very well explained and contain workable instructions on setting up what Sara calls “multiple income streams“.

So it should come as no surprise that I am happy to recommend the latest of Sara’s creations which is called “Sara Brown’s Mini Launches“.

Sara Brown’s New Mini Launches eBook

This downloadable book explains how Sara finds inexpensive products with resale rights and then launches them to draw in loads of sales and a hefty profit.

It goes against everything that the “gurus” usually tell us.

A lot of people think there is a lower price limit that you must not go below and in some cases this is true.

If, for example, you have resale rights to a large DVD set which has previously sold for £2,000+ then it would be ridiculous to go and sell it for just £50.

Unfortunately, some people do tend to do this by selling expensive courses on eBay for a fraction of their normal accepted value.

However, if you can pick up resale rights to a short report or eBook and then turn it round and sell it off for $5 or so, it is possible to make a very good profit.

Sara calls these “Low Cost, High Profit Mini Launches“.

In the eBook Sara goes through 3 case-studies of three successful launches her company, Laycock Publishing, did recently.

None of the products were priced at more than $6 yet each brought in a couple of grand in profits… Low cost, high profit is certainly true in these cases.

So, you can see that Sara Brown’s “Mini Launches” concept demands attention!

Once you’ve read the eBook, please let me know what you think.

I will add a review to the site shortly (it goes in the “to do” list!)

It seems like Matt Shaw’s Fixed Odds Trader service is very popular amongst business opportunity seekers as I’ve just received another review through the support desk.

The comments were:

“Just want to tell you about my experience with Matt Shaw.

Yes, just like your other reviews about fixed odds trading with betonmarkets, All the trades you place are “odds-on” bets, which means your losses are a lot more than your wins.

You need to be winning at a ratio of 4 or 5 to 1 to only break even or achieve small profits.

I have been with Matt Shaw since June 2006 and to date I am into a loss situation with 18 wins and 14 lost in the 32 trades we have placed…Not very good eh?

So, no way can he be making the 3 or 5 thousand pounds per month he boasted about before I signed up.

Not very funny really, it has cost me almost £1000 to date but I am still on his list for e-mail trader alerts. Not got much faith in his so-called expert knowledge though”

Thanks for your comments, I’m sure that visitors to this blog will find them very useful!

Recently I received the following feedback about the Equitrack VSR system from a subscriber to the free Business Opportunities Email Newsletter.

It read:

Our personal experience of Equinex:

About 7 years ago my husband and I bought the Equinex programme. It seemed very impressive and we were also impressed with the initial demonstration at their Cheshunt offices.

However, we lost money on it. The problem also was that when we would phone to ask questions re using the data, the two originators would have very individual ways of slecting their bets from the data provided, and advice often conflicted.

After having had a few unsuccessful periods, we decided to ‘papertrade’: we did this diligently and in a very disciplined way for a year without showing profit (on paper).

However this was in the days when betting tax existed and if that had not been in force, we did work out that we would have made a profit of a couple of hundred pounds on average per month.

For us, even had this been possible at the time (without the betting tax) it would certainly not have been worth the daily work, the risk (bad weather created havoc) and the outlay.

I hope this helps!”

Thanks for taking the time to submit this review.

Yesterday I mentioned in the free Business Opportunity Email Newsletter that Streetwise Publications have been advertising the new Terry Wilson manual called “How to Make £1,000 Before Breakfast” in the national press.

Two subscribers wrote in to provide quick reviews of this product. Their comments are given below:

Subscriber 1:

“Not a major review, but I bought this package and returned it. I am also a subscriber to Andrew Reynold’s Cash on Demand and found that there was nothing in “How to Make £1,000 Before Breakfast”, that I had not already learned from Andrew five-fold.

It has loads of stuff in it and for the price I feel it is good value”

Subscriber 2:

“I just recieved the Terry Wilson ‘£1,000 Before Breakfast’and was shocked to find that it is EXACTLY the same content WORD FOR WORD as Stuart Goldsmiths REAL WEALTH monthly manuals from his REAL LIFE course. So it seem Stu has done a deal with Streetwise who have truncated his 12 part course into a manual.

Just thought it might be woth mentioning to subscribers”

I had a feeling that Stuart Goldsmith had contributed some content…

Last year one particular advert appeared in the Sunday press business opportunity classifieds pretty much every week.

The little ad always said something like:

EXTRA INCOME
£250-£1500 a week p/t!
EXCITING NEW OPPORTUNITIES
FREE INFO no obligation, leave details
0800 458 xxxx (24hrs)
http://www.nhbusiness.co.uk

For weeks I skipped past the ad without giving it too much thought but for some reason or other in December 2006 I decided to visit nhbusiness.co.uk and “order” the special report.

The site has no indication of what it is all about but I was curious so I put my name and address in anyway.

A few weeks later I received a small A5 sized envelope through the post.

It was the “January 2007 Special Business Report” and promised to reveal the “latest high-earning business opportunities available in the UK“.

The report consists of 3 A4 pages of advertisements for various biz opps – 22 seperate adverts in all.

These cover a variety of different business ideas but there are some familiar faces who advertise in this circular.

First off we have Simon Stepsys or, rather, “Simon Step$y$” – his spelling, not mine.

Simon was a heavy-hitter in the Prosperity Automated System pyramid scheme which was massive last year until it was dissolved by the Securities and Exchange Commission in the US (see the main site for details).

Nowadays he seems to be advertising some kind of co-op marketing scheme which I didn’t bother reading about.

Another familiar face is Julie Wilson who also promoted PAS heavily last year in the national press.

On her website she says:

“Basically for 10 years I chased the MLM dream, striving for that elusive residual income and great lifestyle that all the hype makes you believe is within your reach. I don’t think I ever earned more than £750 a month, and that was a good month!”

This contradicts her classified ad in the Sunday Times of 14th May 2006 in which she promoted PAS by suggesting you could earn £1,600 per day.

Chris Cobb is here as well, advertising his “Automated Income Stream Start-Up Kit valued at £1,497”.

Then we have adverts for Kleeneze, VWDirect, Tiscali Networks, various nutritional supplements, “£25 for every sold sign you see”, greeting cards sales, fuel saving tablets and other MLM related opportunities.

Nothing really interested me at all here, least of all anything offered by people who participated in the PAS scam.

Wonder if they ever paid any money back to the people in their downlines who lost thousands of pounds by joining the Prosperity Automated System?

Hope it gets better next month.
