Avoid the scams, find out which Business Opportunities actually work

I get a lot of questions about Google Cash due to the results I have posted on BizOppsUK.

If you haven’t heard of Google Cash before, I highly recommend that you take a look at it.

This was the first “business opportunity” that I bought online and it has been very profitable for me.

A recent question I got was:

“Hi Ben,

Very impressed with the site – straightforward and not smothered in hype. I have a couple of questions about “google cash” (which sounds pretty interesting).

Firstly, your review was posted last year and the info on the Google Cash landing page refers to 2005 only. I’m a net newbie, but I’m assuming 2 years is pretty much the equivalent going from the spinning jennie to a, um, (insert high tech example here).

So, is this updated regularly? Will it still work now? Are you still using it and making money?

Thanks for your time and I wish you continued success with your site.

Ian”

Below is the answer I sent back to Ian:

Google Cash has just been updated very recently although I have yet to contact Chris for the update.

The main idea behind the opportunity is very simple but since I bought it in April 2005, Chris has updated the package to include videos, extra eBooks etc.

It still works for me now and I am still making money from it.

I haven’t updated the site since last year because I am rather lazy – to be brutally honest! I have several campaigns running which I have not touched for months now and they run 24-7 creating leads and sales. I was looking at one the other day which bids on a single keyword.

With this one I have spent £187.84 on advertising and made £436.99 in commissions.

It’s pretty much money for nothing 🙂

As you can see, Google Cash continues to work for me… and I still need to ask Chris for the latest version!

  1. Hello there..

Im really curiosue about this whole money making oppertunities online. Its something i can get used to, being my own boss, working from the comfort of my home.

Im facinated by this whole concept and how i can get started.

I would be the most appreciative guy if you can give me advice on this. I need a chance at some thing. Im a graduate of Enginerring Studies, but i live ion a small town with very little business oppertunities. So im hoping you can give me a sneak in..and will always be appreciative to the guy who first introduced me to the whole IT Home business idea.

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Kind Regards

  2. Hi Again Ben..

I was also hoping you can give me advice one one thing. I came across a website which asks me to buy a guide for £39 for an oppertunity to make quite a bit of money. I mean, if its as genuine as they advertise, i would be happy to make just a quarter of what they are advertising.

What is the catch? Are these websites genuine, or just there to rip us off. The link is below.

    Again, many thanks!

  3. I have to choose my words carefully when it comes to that particular opportunity Jay!

In September 2006 I bought a package called “Get Rich at Home” which has exactly the same sales letter as that website you mention.

What I received was a set of poorly written Word, Excel and PDF files which basically outlined some simplistic betting systems and other unworkable ideas.

I was unable to get a refund.

In short, this is not something I can recommend and it is a purchase that I bitterly regret making.

In fact, I would go so far as to say it is the worst “business opportunity” that I have ever purchased.

    Hope that helps!

  4. Hello Ben..

Thanks again for the advice. It’s sad state of affairs when people who advertise “Get Rich At home” are able to pray on skint folk and get away with it.

I couldnt hold it against people who go after the big coporations, but to go after broke people and give them false hope..for me, thats a Cardinal sin!

Thank you Ben for sharing your experinces with me! 🙂

If you have the time, you can briefly give me hints and pointers to what works.

    Take care!

    Jay
