Avoid the scams, find out which Business Opportunities actually work

Just came across this very interesting video about Keith Wellman’s recent product, the VIP AutoPilot Profits Plus System :

I think he is referring to the huge amount of criticism Keith has received after his AutoPilotFX launch.

Not sure exactly who is speaking here as he does not reveal his name but it looks like either Marc or Hollis – both of whom work for Keith’s company.

There’s a huge thread on the Warrior forum here:

[Edit: Sorry folks, the thread on the Warrior Forum entitled “AutoPilot Profits (keith wellman) – Disappointment” has been removed without explanation]

Of course, I’ve been watching with interest as I had problems when I bought a product through Keith’s affiliate link and he failed to send me the promised bonuses. That was almost a year ago!

  1. I originally found this site from doing research on Keith Wellman and your review is what helped me to make a decision. A picture is worth a thousand words and there was something about his picture that didn’t sit right with me which is why I Googled him. As far as this video is concerned, the same thing goes. There’s not an ounce of what this guy is saying that makes me believe him. His correction from thousand to several was more initially true. Body language and the “authority” of what and how he says goes a long way. IMHO this is doing only one thing, spinning a tale to take the heat off and does more to hurt his image than help it. It only further convinced me to steer far away from this person. Although I’m from across the pond, I found your site quite helpful and did Bookmark it. Keep up the good work!!

  2. Hi Jeff,

    Thanks for stopping by.

I thought the quick switch from “thousands” to “a couple” was very telling as well!

The videos are all over the web now and I think it was a quick attempt to do some disaster recovery after the shambles that was his AutoPilotFX launch.

Although I’m no fan of Wellman, I did order his latest launch the “AutoPilot Sales Formula” for the low price of $19.95 or something like that. I haven’t been billed yet but I did receive the DVDs yesterday.

I am aware there was a forced continuity element to the launch but I believe I may have dodged that by using a special method of payment.

We will have to see what happens next month…

Anyway, it was a nice surprise to actually receive something from Keith – the DVDs appear to be footage from his Million Dollar March Live event held in May. Keith takes the stage along with his employees Marc Horne and Hollis Carter.

I will come back to this when/if the forced continuity element ever comes to pass.

    Cheers,

    Ben

  3. Hi Ben

I actually bought this product and after a titanic struggle got a full refund. The guy in the video above is Marc Horn who is introduced as Keith Wellmans partner in one of his videos so you can see what a shallow attempt it is at deflecting the heat away from the issue.

The problem is that the sales video makes a lot of grossly exagerated claims which leave you woefully disappointed when you see what is delivered. Customer support is the worst I’ve ever experienced and despite a 100% money back guarantee you are refused a refund and people resorted to the Warrior forum because the bad publicity was the
only way to get any response from them. Add to this a whole load of other failings in the system and you get the enormous list of disgruntled customers on the WF posts.

For example in the sales video he states that you are getting $10,000
worth of software tools. In reality they are mostly free downloads plus a couple of very cheap to purchase items. I found that I could get everything in the list for a total of about $15 spend.

Looking back I realised that I too had issues from purchasing the listfx which I had forgotten/given up on. So its not the first time.

Needless to say I will never purchase from FXMarketing or Keith Wellman related stuff again and would strongly advise anyone else to steer clear too. I fail to see why they didn’t put together a better package to keep customers happy as there was some good stuff in there and I feel it could have been improved significantly without much effort. But rather than this Keith went on the forum and told his valuable customers to “Get a Life” then boasted in his next video about the $Million house he was about to move into.

He also complained that he was being victimised and that it was all because of a rogue customer support employee. Which might explain the
customer support issues (but doesn’t at all because he himself was commenting on forums way way before this and knew full well what was happening) but not the poor product issues.

So they have no one but themselves to blame for their predicament.

Its a shame because he has a massive list now and will still get people to buy using deceptive tactics like in the sales video for VIP Autopilot Profits. Therefore will continue to earn good money from people who could get far better products for their money elsewhere.

In my eyes he really doesn’t deserve the wealth and accolade he is enjoying and sooner or later karma will resolve the issue.

I notice that the massive string of criticism on Warrior Forum has been removed which is a shame because it was serving a valuable purpose.

    regards
    Greg

  4. I notice that the massive string of criticism on Warrior Forum has been removed

Wow, thanks for pointing that out. I can’t believe that it has been removed, how disappointing!

For those who didn’t see that thread, there were just about 200 posts in there with countless complaints about the AutoPilot FX product. There were also a lot of posts by Keith – before he was excluded from the forum for trying to game it.

Greg, thanks for dropping by and leaving your side of the story. I’m glad you got a full refund (in the end!).

Keith tried to bill my credit card for $29.99 a couple of weeks ago but he was unsuccessful as I had used a prepaid card and it was out of money. He was persistant though, trying to get the money three seperate times!

Yesterday he sent me an email letting me know that he was adding a $4.97 S&H charge onto his forced continuity program.

    How kind of him!

  5. Hi, found the site after I called my card company. I had a major PC problem so could not view the DVDs that I was originally sent, then an other one turned up, which I had not ordered! So I had to put the transaction into ‘dispute’! I was happy to pay for the first, but then I found (I knew) I had not signed up for more! They say one is born every day, so I took a weeks worth & thanks for enlightening me! Cheers

  7. Yeah, I will never purchase anything from Keith again. I bought the Autopilot Profits package and was extremely dissapointed with it. I asked for a refund, they told me I had to put forth an “effort” to make it work, and prove it to them that I had. Well after trying to download the “Million Dollar March” training videos (they take a day to download even on a fairly fast connection), I have completely given up on the program. I asked for a refund again, and they told me it was too late. [Text Removed] After spending $497 on a weak product, I am extremely dissatisified. You should see the ebooks they wanted us to sell! They are cheap if not free ebooks you can find by doing a simple search! Oh well, live and learn.

  8. I just bought something a couple of months ago from him and they didn’t give me the link to. Sent email after email to his helpdesk. I disputed it with good old paypal and they got me my money back. Does keith not realize what a FOOL he is and how he is hurting his company. I do understand that you need to make money, but does he really understand how it really works. My customers come first if they have a problem I have a problem (I’s That Simple). These kind of people really piss me off I work hard to deliver on what I say. 9. I made a purchase almost a year ago, the dvd was very poor quality, which keep sticking. They have access to my account and keep sending these inferior disc to me. Apart from cancelling my card I have no way of getting them to stop sending me these and accessing my account. Is there anyway I can do this successfully.

Many thanks for exposing FX Marketing

  10. Jeff,

I want to thank you for bringing this to everyone’s intention. I wish I had done better research as I upgraded through his autopilot program and spent nearly $800.00 and I have still not received anything. I have called his office several times during business hours and never get anyone. I must have emailed approximately 15 times most of the time no response just got the last one today stating can not refund as over 60 days.

I have already seeked an attorney as to me it is now more principle than the money. I will be submitting an article tomorrow to all the directories called Internet [censored] and what to be aware of. I will then be blogging at warriors forum as well.

The sad part is that this was my first experience paying for an upgrade package online and the only reason I had was due to Mike Filsaime recommending him. This is nothing bad against Mike Filsaime as I have never had a problem with him or his merchandise.

Well because of Keith Wellman and FX Marketing I am now dedicating my time to ensure no else gets ripped off even if I do not make 1 cent from it.

Many Thanks again for exposing both FX Marketing and Keith Wellman

  13. I too purchased the AutoPilot Plus package at $497 and got nothing but an upsell to buy website domains and “a traffic blazer package”.
After having dealt with Keith in his earlier ventures, (also based on Mike Filsaime’s recommendation), I have had countless problems with various products from List FX through following up on promised “Bonuses” for other people’s products, which Keith and his “Support Staff” (who are now almost impossible to connect to and maintain any type of conversation with) say were ‘delivered to “everyone on the list who should have received them’. I should have known better. The sales pages get taken down well after the product access pages are long gone…
The link I got for a place to pick up my AutoProfit Plus package materials doesn’t reside on the ‘net any longer — with no notice that I would not be able to refer to it after any specified time period (and this is only 4 months after the purchase).
I’m extremely disappointed in Keith and his staff — money makes some people careless and stupid when it comes to true customer appreciation and satisfaction.
I’ll never buy from him again and will forewarn my customers based on the experiences I’ve had with FX Marketing / Everyday Wealth LLC / Autopilot Wealth Institute or whatever he’s flogging his “company” as this week.

  14. Hey am I glad Ive done some research on this guy Keith Wellman and found this!
I was very seriously thinking about buying into the Million Dollar Advantage Program that was in a follow up email to my $1 Breakthrough Profit Creation workshop.
The sales video is very tempting audio wise but the fact that Keith was going to take photos of his million dollar home was canceled due to it snowing and his first official online mentor to us students is going to be his Dad?? got me thinking that something wasn’t quite right.

Always go with your gut instinct its very rarely wrong.
I am a growing fan of Mike Filsaime and as you and others have shown, we tend to go with their recommendations but this kind of thing can hurt him and his business if things get way out of control.

If Mr Wellman does happen to see these comments above I am sure he wouldn’t part with his money either, even though I hadn’t even heard of the guy until Yesterday!
For all I know he may be a great guy that’s got too big too fast and couldn’t give the customer service promised and its all gone Pete Tongue.

    Lets hope its the later

  15. I purchased his breakthrough profit creation workshop. The video work is very poor quality and in my opinion worthless.

I went ahead and purchased his autopilot wealth institute for $497.00
I have listened to four of the 15 presentations and am very disappointed. I was going to ask for a refund but it appears from what I am reading on this blog I will be wasting my time.

I am going to contact student support and ask for a refund to what will happen.

  17. I bought an FX product called BREAKTHROUGH PROFIT CREATIONS and have been given the run around for over a month now, I think the product is ok, if you’re a NEWBIE, but my issue is that i cancelled my subscription before the month was up and have so far been billed twice since. I have tried unsuccessfully to get my money back and now will probably have to cancell my credit card to stop them from taking the money. Has anyone had any success in getting their money back and if so how? I am from Australia and here we a reglatory system where you can report these fraudsters, don’t you have that in America? Here are FX Marketing details if anyone needs them: FX marketing Inc., 1561 Highway 42N, McDonough, GA 30253
I looked up their phone number (770) 898-1800(I CAN’T GET THROUGH) I will keep on posting this in the hope that something can be done and in the hope that someone else won’t get scammed.

  18. !!THANK YOU!! You just saved me 497.00 I didn’t have to spend!! I have only bought 2 programs online and have been in the IM field for quite some time.

I have developed a product, a website, affiliate page, optin-squeeze page, customer service, I have adwords ads up and running, my product is listed on paydotcom’s affiliate marketplace, and I have no traffic, the products I have bought lately are supposed to teach me how to create a buzz, drive traffic, hook up with JV’s, and get massive affiliates and visitors. Needless to say none of them have helped and I figured maybe its because they are 37$ and 47$ products, but if this guy can teach me how to do what he does then I won’t loose. Right?? Well thanks for letting me know that that’s not what I will be getting.

As for the refund, the video says that after the 3 month training you have 6 months to make money and if you dont make money in 6 months they will give you your money back, BUT IF YOU READ the terms and agreement that you put you initials on it says that are no waranties either expressed, implied, written, or otherwise stated. Also at the end of the contract trems it states that there are no refunds for ANY FX product or for any product offered by Keith Wellman and all products are sold AS IS.

  22. Just discovered something very interesting for those who are being billed monthly by Keith Wellman and are having trouble reaching his support to cancel the subscription.

    Go to:

    https://everydaywealth.customerhub.net/

Register using the same email address you used when you first purchased a product from him.

You will be sent an email to that address with a temporary password. Use that to login and when you successfully login you will find a list of your subscriptions:

Once logged in, try cancelling your subscription from there.

    Good luck!

For goodness sake, you already didn’t pay per diems. My separation notice states “FIRED FOR DISRESPECT”. Yeah right!

  26. I am being charged monthly by Keith Wellman (not sure if I ever ordered anything and I keep receiving the FX marketing DVDs although I don’t think the address where they are sent from actually links to Keith if you write there) and I have tried to cancel over the past few months but Keith does not answer his emails within 24 hrs as his site states. I have just tried again – three times – to cancel using my correct user name (email address) and the password he sent me which is confirmed in an email from him just today, and I get a message stating – invalid user name or password – so again, I cannot unsubscribe from this monthly fee. And worse, there is no unsubscribe button on any of his emails which is required by law in USA, UK and Australia as far as I know, and certainly common practice with legitimate emails, newsletters and product providers. I just want to stop the credit card payments and stop getting the products. Heather, Australia

  27. I purchased Automated Sales Formula from Keith Wellman because it was promoted as a system that was almost fully set up for you. All you had to do was plug in your affiliate links and it would be ready to go in no time at all. All that was then required was to promote your website.

The reality – It took me two days to set up the website with my affiliate links and set up the autoresponders. If I didn’t have extensive website building experience I would have given up. Instead of the system being 95% set up as I had been lead to believe, it was only about 50%. Everyone gets the same templates so you’re competing with everyone else with the same product. They reckon they have a plugin to automate the setup now, but why didn’t they have it for the launch? I had to do the setup manually fifteen times – once for each product – and I thought I was buying something where most of the work was done for me.

The Twitter software was useless. There were no useful instructions and I couldn’t figure out how to set it up. My email asking for instructions was never answered. The website claims they are going to provide more detailed instructions but I doubt it will ever happen.

It is almost impossible to make the websites unique unless you ditch Wellman’s products and install your own, as Google has no use for duplicate content. If you add your own products then there was no need to buy ASF. I should have known better.

Perhaps the total product was worth $97 (I’m being generous), it certainly wasn’t worth $497. I’ve had better products for free or low cost on the Warrior forum. Wellman is a master of hype. I will never buy one his products again and if any guru recommends his products I will not do business with them either.

THE LESSON – whenever you see a sales video that has no no controls (pause, fast forward etc) RUN A MILE and keep your wallet in your pocket.

    Comment by Robert — 9th February 2010 @ 7:42 am

  28. I also have been attempting to get a refund for a purchase of Automated Sales Formula. In a nutshell, every complaint that you have read about Keith Wellman, his company, and his products, lack of customer service, etc. I could write here in my own post as well. I am working with my credit card company to get a full refund. As part of the process, they require a “signed second opinion letter” from a professional on letterhead supporting my documents/claim that the product/company/experience is as bad as I stated.

Is there anyone here who is in the same boat as me and needing similar evidence? Can we swap letters?

In the meantime, I have printed off all the pages of the complaint boards I’ve found online. Maybe that will be enough for my card company. 😉

    Thanks!

  30. i am glad to see so many disappointed folks here. i flew to chicago to keiths seminar in april, hoping to get some more info on how to make the asf product work, instead i was pitched for 3 days. i cannot make the twitter software work, because as pointed out here also, it is difficult to understand what you need to type in to the searches. i do not want to loose credibility with my name. i also have never had a reply from support, nor the $97 refunded that was promised for the downpayment for the seminar. i have cancelled my credit card to stop the payments bieng taken. but lets get this straight, he is not alone, i have asked for refunds from mike filsaime (no refund given)anik,(no reply) michael cheeney,(no refund for you) alex malave (still no refund) and the list goes on. i AM NOT a serial refunder as the gugr’s would have me labbled, but want a product that makes me money, none of them have, and i mean none of them, you will only make money from these guys if you are prepared to spend A LOT of money and i mean $10,000 and more. buying products for a few hundred will not make you money in the short term, and only a few will make it in the long term. believe me i purchased in 2003 mark joyners fairwell cd collection, and worked with all the other names above, how do you make it big? pay a mentor a lot of money or hope that you can do it on your own
