Avoid the scams, find out which Business Opportunities actually work
March 14, 2007
Filed under: General Opportunities, HYIPs — Ben @ 2:29 pm

I’ve recently received several emails about this one. It’s called the “Global Pension Plan” and promises to help you turn €30 into €55,000 or more!

I got the following email and decided to look into it:

“Hi Ben
Could you be kind enough to look into this opportunity for me, what’s your opinon on this one, sounds too good to be true!….has it got scam written all over it? it was passed on to me by friend.
thanks for your time
Phil”

Well, I had a good look at the site and tried to find out who is behind it and what is going on.

Rather than take up space here, please visit the main site:

Global Pension Plan - Is it a Scam?

Once you’ve read the report there, please feel free to comment on this blog or send me an email to the usual address.

Thanks,

Ben

*UPDATE 23/02/2008* - I’ve had to remove some comments as the blog was collapsing under the weight!

*UPDATE 13/11/2008* - I’ve had a few problems with the blog over the past 24 hours which resulted in a restore from backup. Consequently you may find some rogue symbols dotted around the place - especially where there used to be a € or £ sign. Apologies for this but there are far too many for me to correct!

*UPDATE 22/12/2008* - Just for fun: The Global Pension Plan - Stella’s Updates

*UPDATE 16/06/2009* - Now that Stella is gone or dead or whatever - she’s not writing the updates in any case - let’s just remind ourselves of when the final date for GPP is (from the official site):

20th of November, 2008
Deadline & General update

The Final Deadline: 31st of January 2009
During the last week and half we have been closely in touch with the insurance company and the financier of this project and agreed the final deadline to be set on the above mentioned date. The current turbulent financial climate has created a great pressure to finish the program as soon as possible. This date is absolute and means, that we MUST reach the initially set target of 100.000 qualified members. Otherwise the program closes without payout.”

Note that Stella said “this date is absolute” so it was surprising when the new ‘admin’ posted this:

10th of May, 2009
Update

Dear Global Pension Plan Members,
As per Trust Partner’s decision, we hereby announce the final closing date of Global Pension Plan: 06/30/2009 That is the 30th of June 2009.
The current number of fully qualified members is only slightly short of the 100.000 limit.
Trust Partner highly appreaciates your efforts and sends you best wishes and luck for the last month and a half.
Sincerely,
Admin”

*UPDATE 26/10/2009* - Apologies for the problems with the blog over the weekend. A new plugin caused the issues. All should be back to normal now…

Since I dont have actual access to GPP website, I will copy and paste the information that you provided me on here once they contact me.
I can only imagine that IC3 gets a million emails daily! So it may be a week or two, but I will do as much as I can to find out what is going on.
And of course I will keep you all posted, I hate it when people dont follow thru with things, I find that annoying.

    Nt_:
If you go back a few pages and just read all of the posts, you will be able to draw your own conclusions whether or not GPP is a scam. Start at the bottom of each page and read upwards.
This site has both positive and negative gpp feedback, its up to you to decide which side your on! I wouldnt want to be accused of poisoning anyones mind with negative thoughts! lol

If It Walks Like A Duck: Glad you filed with the IC3. Also file with the U.S. Postal Inspector’s Office online complaint form. They are the lead agency in this working with the other worldwide agencies. This way you have all your bases covered. I think they are closing in on the perps, and won’t be surprised to see Roger Karlsson, Tom Sornes, Pedro Dispenza/Peter Roor, and possibly Boulat Rafikov being the perps behind this. Time will tell.

I had a question that I am hoping you can answer for me.
My friend signed up for an online “investment” plan called GPP (Global Pension Plan). A reverse pension plan apparantly.
I was wondering if this was a scam (Im sure it is, but just wanted to be reassured).
And if it is a scam, what, if anything, has the FBI done about it? Or is there another area to contact regarding international online scams?
    Please let me know.
    Thank you very much!”

IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK ..
Have you ever asked or received a reply from the FBI or whether http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx Global Pension Plan is a scam or not?
It is also wise to ask the Interpol, they must have the equipment and technology necessary to investigate GPP.

It is incredible that GPP is in the network.
If you have any response IC3, FBI and Interpol on Global Pension Plan please put it in this forum.

This information was forwarded to me by a friend who lives in Singapore.

For those who invested in GPP.
    Beware. Is a Scam

This report was send to me by my girlfriend who works in the Malaysia SC.

Official source from Malaysian Securities Commission Agency
    BERNAMA, Jan 11

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 11 (Bernama) — The Malaysia Securities Commission (MSC) has achieved a breakthrough in its Internet enforcement investigation case against the Global Pension Plan (GPP) Internet investment scheme. Finnish NBI, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Switzerland, Singapore and the US Postal has been investigating GPP since last spring.

About Ringgit Malaysia 12 million (2.5 Million Euro) is currently held in six bank accounts in Panama and eight bank accounts in Latvia and Bahamas, the SC in a statement here today.

“As Global Pension Plan (GPP) is a worldwide scam that operates in the borderless Internet realm, the SC is working closely with regulators from seven other countries to combat these illegal activities,” the commission said.

“This cross-jurisdictional collaboration has led to the discovery of valuable information that has facilitated investigations,” it added.
Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany and US Postal Bureau suspect the investment website of being a fraudulent pyramid scheme.

The company website was closed without notice sometime during the last couple of weeks.

The investigation was launched after authorities received thousands of complained from the investors in the Malaysia.
“Investors are again reminded that neither Global Pension Plan nor GPP are licensed by the SC,” it said.

To date, the SC has blocked one websites related to Global Pension Plan, namely http://www.globalpp.tv , and http://www.global-final-step.net will be blocked next.

    Billy:
I suggested IC3 months ago. I dont have access to GPP, and no longer recieve emails from my friends phsycotic up line guy (as he left the country and no longer really cares about his down line).
If you have the information they need, then by all means, send it in.
A while ago someone said they did that, but we havent heard any updates from that person (well, at least I-personally am not aware of any updates anyway, I could have missed it somewhere). So I dont know for sure if they did contact IC3 or not.
Im sure its not an easy task finding ghosts in the machine. As Ben has already pointed out, GPP has no actual address to contact anyone. No president of the company, no CFO, no CEO. No bank address or details, just a website that Im sure is the internet equivalent to a throw away cell phone.
A million uplines that dont lead to anyone in particular, just friends of friends and relatives of relatives and so on. And some chick named Stella who may or may not be alive (or even a woman, or even a person at all for that matter).
Anyway, if you got some info, send it in! And keep us posted PLEASE!!!
Im sorry for being negative nelly again. Really, Im a very positive person, and I welcome positive posts, (as long as they have some actual sense behind it).
Well, anyway, we all know where I stand.
Have a nice day. Back to work for me!

I understand your point Burt but Gpp play, lie… do you can imagine how much money GPP maked in 7 years and it is never finish it is always some policies to buy tree time I think Gpp said they reach them goal and it was the final and they always come back with different stories like Stella was dead of cancer and in 2010 she’s alive, the 42,000 was supposed to be extra now it is absolutly necessary to buy those policies like the 15,000 last years and the other the years before it will never have a end , GPP make to much money and it is to difficult for them to give up, I think it is a wrong way for us to make money, I invest in GPP and I hope so hard it is not a scam but every way Gpp run them business it show me it is not serious and full of lies , it is better to put 10.00 every day in a bank account, my opinion and get a little amount after 20 years that way I can get something that give a lot of money to Gpp and get nothing after 20 years, that’s my opinion because GPP never show to nobody they are serious and have good intention to pay anyone it was be a very nice christmas present to get just only the bonus we got in our account but we received nothing and it is always the news we have to buy and buy and buy more policies till the time we die….. for me no more money for GPP or any RPP’S for me it is the time to ‘’show me the money”.

Are the perps of GPP un-touchable? I don’t know. Would they stick around just to sell another 255,000 of so called policies? I don’t know that either. After all that they have made I wouldn;t think it would be worth it to stick around like this to endure the heat that is coming on to them. Do they care? I don;t know. Should they care? Hard saying. Personally I don;t care any more as a life or death situation. I find it more amusing now than anything else. Mostly I laugh at myself. Still, I hope it works out for the many but I’m not gonna bet the farm on it. What program was it that sent members to NYC for some sort of outing? I forget. What a bunch of bullshit that turned out to be. Have A GREAT NEW YEAR FOLKS and I do mean ALL that post here.

Thank you Random! I was just thinking that.
Oh well, I was just going to respond to him, but he cant see the forest through the trees. And since he doesnt say anything to back up his positivity, its just not worth it to me.
Sure we all need to take a “leap of faith” every now and then, but not if it makes horrible people rich at your expense.
One thing though, if my friend HAD thousands of dollars, she wouldnt have invested in an online -get rich- scheme. She would have invested in something legitimate.
    Just sayin.

    Burt
    GPP is a scam
all this rubbish about ‘I have the information’… yeah right. What info is that then? Oh yeah, you can’t say.,,, convenient this is your last contribution,

There is so much evidence this is a scam- to really have faith. You do not get money for nothing, it just doesn’t happen. No bank will just give away that sum of money, the company isn’t registered, regulated so IS operating illegally. The referral bonuses will add up to a huge amount- where does that money come from? No financial company will store and keep colour copies of a passport. It just won’t work.. if it will, why do other financial companies, IFAs advertise this?

You have said nothing to convince me that this is not a scam, of course it is an illegal scam
there are some very rich people living off the proceeds of selling your ID and the £25.

I know a friend who has invested £300 in this- which is a fair chunk. Some people are investing large quantities.

I hope people will read this and protect their money and their ID.

    Hello
is bad news in the last statement of GPP
was suspected that want to continue selling 20,000 more policies are frequently found
Everyone who lives in the United States of America should go to als FBI offices,
    and make their complaints,

is incredible how this alleged scam continues to recruit money, and nobody can stop it
in the final communique of January 8 payments are not talking about this shit GPP.
Go to Interpol or the FBI http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
GPP that they have recovered money every day.

to IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK: It looks as if only the naysers has the right to show their opinion as you say. The problems of those forums is that only the naysers show there opinion, every day the same shit. It is only a loop of negatives what is based on really nothing. Always the same persons with their negativity. Nobody has asked your friend to invest thousands. Only 50,- euro’s to try to get a better life, what is wrong with that. Nothing is sure in life even not the outcome of GPP. The only thing in life what is sure is that you will die. Let me tell you once, that I do have the information to know that GPP is not a scam. But that doesn’t mean it will be successful. If life was so simple then everybody should be a millionaire. I have said what I had to say so this was my last contribution.
